- How far ahead should I book?
- A cut is usually available within a week or two. Colour with a specific colourist often runs three to six weeks ahead, and correction work longer again. If you have an event, book the appointment before you book anything else.
- Should I go to the most expensive salon I can afford?
- Not automatically. Price mostly reflects location, appointment length and seniority. A mid-priced salon that specialises in exactly your hair type will usually beat an expensive generalist.
