Why the range is so wide

Most of the spread is length and who holds the scissors. Price lists routinely quote short, medium and long as separate lines, and a salon that runs staff tiers will list the same cut two or three times — emerging stylist through to creative director — with the top tier commonly around double the bottom. A cut quoted with a blow-dry sits higher again.
