Why the range is so wide

Colour is where 'from' pricing does the most work. A large share of these lines are quoted as a starting price, with the final figure depending on how much product a head of hair takes — which is why the upper quartile sits so far above the middle. Toner, gloss and a finishing blow-dry are frequently separate lines rather than included.
