Upper quartile
$277

Why the range is so wide

The most expensive category on this site, and the widest. Half-head and full-head are almost always priced separately, balayage usually sits above foils, and corrective work — undoing a previous colour — is often quoted only on consultation, so it is under-represented in the numbers below rather than absent from the market.

By city

Largest sample first, and each city has its own page. A city appears only where at least 25 businesses publish this pricing, because below that a single expensive salon moves the whole row.

What these numbers are, and are not

Every figure is computed from businesses’ own published service menus — 7,342 priced lines from 1,730 businesses, collected on 25 September 2026. None of it is typed in by hand.

A published price is not a quote. What you are charged depends on your hair, your skin and how long the appointment actually takes, and many businesses quote on consultation rather than publishing at all — 1,730 businesses in our catalogue offer this service, and 1,730 of them publish a price for it. The ones that publish are not a random sample of the ones that do not.
